a FIRST for the internet: uploads of original POLAVISION INSTANT home movies made by myself or by my dad. Shot between 1978 to as recently as 1990 (so far; we still have several unexposed film cassettes. They are played here on a brand new old stock Polavision player gotten recently from eBay.
Transferred optically from the player via the excellent Canon HV 30 HD camcorder; high definition 16:9 aspect ratio, camera set to aperture priority, 30fps.
Edited in Windows Movie Maker as HD 16:9 ratio output and then compressed in WMM to an extent of 960 by 540 pixels, so that YT could recognize the aspect ratio rightly.
Otherwise, when I try to upload an "uncompressed" wmv file, YT sees it as 4:3 and makes me look even skinnier (lol).
