This page was set up to show video clips from The Bobby Sharp Music Workshop and Concert Series sponsored by Poignant Records/Poignant Publishing and Acoustic Guitar magazine.

The series is named in honor of songwriter Bobby Sharp who wrote the Ray Charles' classic Unchain My Heart.' Bobby will be a guest instructor and perfomer at our April 26 event along with his label mate and collaborator, Natasha Miller.

At the workshops, we'll be scouting for songs to include in an upcoming compilation record to be released by Poignant Records (Natasha and Bobby's record label.)

The shows begin at 7PM. Local and touring songwriters will perform their own tunes, talk about the origin and evolution of each piece and give the audience an insider's view of their creative process.

These workshop/concerts are open to the public— all ages are welcome and you don't need to be a musician to attend.

The shows take place on the last Sunday of every month in Studio Two of Bay Area Sound Studios, located at 85 Mitchell Blvd, San Rafael, CA 94903.
