Donna slammed the door shut with a shiver, then turned back to where Rose, Martha, Jack, and the Doctor were picking themselves up off the metal grating. "Again!" "Oooo, snow!" Rose squealed. She grabbed her coat, hung on a hook at the far side of the consol room, ran out the door, and took a flying leap towards the nearest snowdrift, spinning in the air to land on her back. The Doctor snatched his trench coat from a TARDIS branch and, grinning, scooped up some snow and threw it at her. She screamed in surprise and got up, chasing after him. "Hey Doctor!" Jack yelled and threw a snowball of his own at his unsuspecting face. The Doctor opened his mouth and squeaked loudly, wriggling - Rose had snuck up behind the Doctor while he was distracted and put ice down the back of his shirt. The Doctor gave chase, catching her around the waist, and they both fell into another bank of snow. Jack ran after them, his greatcoat flapping behind him, and tried to jump on both of them, but they rolled away and he landed face-first in the snow. Jack jumped up with an angry roar, grinning widely and wiping the snow off his face. He raced after the two of them with a snowball in each hand. Donna and Martha watched from the doorway, smiling to themselves and each other. "Well," said Donna. "I think I'm going to go try and nail Jack." She crossed the room and grabbed her furry jacket. "I'm not really one for getting wet," Martha said. "I'm going to go see if I can find anything up the hill. But get the Doctor for me!" Donna smirked at her. "Don't you worry, I will." Martha shrugged on a thick black coat and laughed at Jack's yell as Donna's snowball hit him. She peeked out from the door, cautious of errant snowballs, and laughed again at the whack-a-mole style their snowball war had taken on. She quickly walked up the crest of the hill, and the Doctor called out to her when she neared the top. "Where're you going?" "I'm going to check out this place!" Martha gestured to the rest of the area. A snowball cut off the Doctor's reply and he quickly turned back to the game, launching one off his pile at Rose, who disappeared, giggling, behind her fort. Martha turned back to her destination and gasped in wonder. "Wow..." Sparkling ice caves surrounded this side of the ravine. Huge icicles hung poised over the frozen ponds, glittering. Across one of the walls were long indentations scratched deeply into the ice. She hurried over to them, and realized that they were huge letters. C-O-M-E D-O-C-T-O-R - she stumbled back in shock. "Doctor!" she called, and soon heard pounding footsteps. The four others gathered behind her, panting. The Doctor whipped his glasses out of his pocket, staring closely at the carvings and running his fingers over them, then crouched to the ground and lightly brushed the snow, uncovering a print, and another beyond it. "C'mon!" he said. "Follow the footprints!" And they all grabbed each others hands, grinned, and chased the path, icicles falling in their wake from the force of their laughter.
