she isnt trying to hide the autotune. She is an artist with it and uses it not to hide her natural talent but instead to create a cool new noise, to add an almost airy haunting sound to her voice. It works really well for this song in my opinion and I have nothing against how she used it.

@guiltyhalo no he didnt, Imogen heap declares this herself in an interview. This song by jason derulo was a shallow response to what was an incredibly deep song by imogen heap. I am guessing the reason they didnt orginally give her credit is because I doubt she would want to be associated with this.
