she knits in the "American" or "English" style, where the working yarn is held in the right hand. In Europe it is much more common for people to knit with the yarn held over the index finger of the left hand. This style is referred to as "Continental," "German" or "European" style knitting. Knowing both can be really handy for colorwork (such as fair isle) because you hold can hold a color in each hand. I mostly knit Continental, but learned how to knit in the English style.
But all the same, thanks for the videos. They are a great help and your are really explaining it very well.
Thanks so much. I will send a scan of the pattern in a little bit.
How can I tell if I am on the right side?
Thank you so much for sharing your talents to teach me, us. :)
Keep up the GREAT work :)
