About this user

First things first: I love plants, mostly weeds. I especially love flowering weeds. One of the first projects I ever did in university was on this beautiful flowering weed called purple loosestrife. I'm now working on my undergrad thesis on another (not so beautiful) weed called dog strangling vine.

Second thing I love is knowing stuff. I'm a "knowing stuff" junkie. I heard about this study where a bunch of scientists showed that learning something new gave you a high similar to cocaine. I don't know about that, but I definitely love learning stuff.

Third thing I love is my cat. His name is Oscar Schrodinger. We live in the servant's quarters of an old drafty house. Oscar likes bits of Kleenex thrown for him, and I like tofu fried in vegetable broth and rosemary.

I also really like hearing from people, and I like discussing ideas, so I hope that you will take the time to get a discussion going!
