Youth Empowerment Through Arts & Media Play

The international child centered development organization Plan and Nokia, a world leader in mobile communications, are in a partnership to empower and support youth as active and leading participants in their own development in Africa. Providing young people with the tools and skills necessary to communicate about what is important to them will enable them to become active citizens and to have a say in decisions that affect their lives. Plan and Nokia promote the access to and use of various media such as radio, music video, the internet, mobile devices and television as these are vital elements to empowering youth.

All videos produced through this project were conceived, developed, filmed, and edited by youth participating in the project.

They do not represent official views of Plan as an organization.
