Both this and the Lockheed design are badly under-armed, with only a medium cannon, perhaps a few machine guns, and relatively short ranged missle - sitting ducks for any reasonanably well armed opponent.

nwparkour (and others are correct. First picture is of an experimental F-16XL with an arrow delta wing. I believe it was first tested in the late '80s or early '90s and may still be used for testing, but was never in production.

Not a sabot round but an inert version of a rocket-boosted artillery round. This was likley a test run to verify the function of inert parts of the round under gun launch conditions...e.g. proper fin deployment.
