This is some "Chet Stuff" Doyle picked out at a little concert in Gilroy this year. I reserved tickets four months in advance, but the front row was reserved for people who went to the church, I think... So that's why you'll see some of the shot blocked by peoples' heads. :D

He starts out with "Oh By Jingo, Oh By Gee", throws a few tunes in the middle and ends with "12th Street Rag" and even the Woody Woodpecker theme! The only part of this I've taken the time to figure out is the lick at the very end, which I though was an illsuion of sorts -- even after I had figured it out -- unil I began to practice the run myself. I'm a really big Doyle expert, but not a big Chet follower, so if any friend of Chester's could tell me the names of those mystery songs that sure would be a good help.

This video is actually off of the Taylor ES DVD. If you follow the link down there, Taylor will send you this DVD free-of-charge. It has some really helpful and interesting bits about the ES and, under the ES Performances section, many wonderful videos of fine musicians and their Taylor guitars.

I can't recall who wrote the song, but I think this arrangement is based on the version Chet and Les did way-back-when.

Yet another version of Classical Gas by Tommy. Found this on the internet recently. I'm guessing it was filmed early-mid 2002 at Sierra Nevada, Centre Stage.

Great version this, inluding segments of "Walk Don't Run" by The Ventures and "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" by Elton John.
