@Bowmaster619 How about when you miss the heart with your bow and shoot a deer in the leg? Not a great fan of trapping myself but nothing is ever perfect unless you get a clear shot when you hunt. Level of suffering for the animal can be far greater if something goes wrong.

@NanookDJ Sadly this pike was most probably poached. Check the net marks on the tail. Also there is a protective period on pike in Poland between 01.01-30.04, so assuming by the snow, it was caught around this time. I am 99% sure the guy killed and kept it for profit. Pouching is a plague in Pola...
