That's how I started out as a fan a few years ago, too. And now I've played through the whole series since Christmas. Mother 3 almost twice. XD

@animefoxfan101 On TVTropes it says she died in a car crash, but I have no clue where they heard that. I feel like that's worse than a natural cause, because then it very well was somebody's "fault" that she died, as opposed to just "she got sick and couldn't be cured", etc. :(

@Aitamen I would seriously pay $50 just for a Virtual Console release of ANY of the games in the series. If I had a way to buy merchandise directly from Nintendo in support of this series, I totally would. As a lot of people would, I'm sure.

@soldierss666 I've watched 2 let's plays, so I already know what I'm up against. Fortunately. It's definitely more awesome playing it for yourself, though. I actually thought the background "music" for the Giygas battle was pretty cool. Disturbing, yes, but that's the point.

@zwataketa I think it's funny how Ness speaks some serious Engrish, and that EarthBound was officially brought to America, yet Lucas speaks English with NO accent, even though Mother 3 was never brought to America. Kinda ironic when you think about it.

The game turned out beautifully on the GBA, with the great spriting and all. It's just a shame that all of the developers' hard work and time (not to mention money) ended up not working out.

Actually, maybe in reality it's become a game of sorts to toy with us fans. No matter how much we fight, they won't lose. He's pulling a Porky on us.
