I love to play ITM. If you have a tune request or want to hear a certain tune, I will try to learn, if I don't already know it, and post it.
About Me:

I am an Irish-American, and I play the Irish flute and whistle. I am hoping to get the Uilleann pipes fixed here soon. I am learning Gaelige...it is coming along slowly but surely. I love my heritage's culture, music, language, and history. I don't drink green beer. I don't wear shirts that say "Kiss Me! I'm Irish". I do enjoy good Guinness and good craic. I play at the Irish session although I am not the best player...the others at the pub are very kind to put up with me.
Influences:
Matt Molloy, Mike Rafferty, Michael McGoldrick, Kevin Crawford, Joani Madden, Joe Madden, Martin Hayes, Kevin Burke, Tommy Peoples, Cillian Vallely, John McSherry, Paddy Keenan, John Doyle, Noel Hill, Eileen Ivers, Ciarin Tourish, John Whelan, Paul Brady, Paddy Maloney, Sean Smyth, Seamus Ennis, Tim Collins, Seamus Egan, John Williams, Tony MacMahon, Seamus Tansey, Conal O'Grada, Sylvain Barou....Those are just to name a few off the top of my head in no particular order.
Country:
United States
Interests:
Irish Traditional Music (aka ITM). I play the Irish flute, whistle, and pipes. I like good beer, good coffee, good music, and good people. I love learning Gaelige. I also like differnt sports-American and European.
Movies:
I know it is cliche, but I love Braveheart. I also like Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile, The Godfather, The Wind That Shakes the Barley, American History X, The Emperor and The Assassin.......
Music:
ITM: Lunasa, Cherish the Ladies, Dervish, The Bothy Band, The Chieftains, Michael McGoldrick, Mike Rafferty, and Ceili Bands...those are just some of the few, but there are too many to name. They are pretty much everyone in my Influences list plus more.

I've been to Jack of the Wood many times and never heard of The Woodies, but it's been a while since I've been there. Great piping and picking! Cheers!
