I would say it was live. There are a couple of times when the microphone goes out, and you can barely hear him. Also, unlike some performers today, Michael Jackson was actually able to sing and dance and was used to performing live.

@TraitorMouse : Agreed. Unfortunately, too many of Roger's fans think he is perfect and always exaggerate about what he does or doesn't do. They spend too much time wallowing in bitterness and hatred for Rafael Nadal.

I really don't understand Federer's fans. Always arguing the same tired stuff all over the internet and on every video of Nadal beating their hero. So much bitterness. I go to lots of sports message boards, and Roger Federer has the most bitter, insecure, whiny fans of any sportsman I know of....
