Valentina Lisitsa rehearses the 24 Chopin Etudes

On August 17th, 2010, I witnessed and filmed Valentina Lisitsa's rehearsals of the Chopin Etudes Op.10 and Op.24 in the Beethovensaal in Hannover. On August 18th and 19th she recorded at the same location the complete set of Chopin's 24 Etudes for a new cd album. Faust (Murnau) DOMESTIC version + Brock-score edited by PdR

A special edit by Pieter de Rooij, showing the DOMESTIC version of Murnau's 'Faust' (1926) combined with Timothy Brock's brilliant score, written for another version of this film, the so-called 'export version' of 'Faust'. My edit is the result of an experiment I did to find a way to combine the 'domestic cut' of 'Faust' with Timothy Brock's score for the 'export' version of Murnau's masterpiece.
