Yea Aristotle is a little quirky. The nichomachean ethics is his easiest to understand, and one you'll probably get the most out of.
Brothers Karamazov is a story about 4 brothers and one murders their father. But beyond the simple plot, it is a deep philosophical novel about the existence of God, redemption, religious ecstasy, faithlessness, hope, and despair. On the surface it sounds bleak, but it's actually an incredibly read. There are just as many arguments in favor of God than against God, and the arguments in favor aren't the "Jesus loves you!" kind, but portray the love of God as an ecstasy, exuberant feeling. It's a terrific read, long, but terrific. Don't pass it off, you really won't regret it!

well, who knows what Plato was thinking when he wrote it. I'm gonna go ahead and say I didn't understand much of it, much like Aristotle's metaphysics. And yeah, that part was hilarious. After finishing up the Brothers Karamazov I'll take a look at the apology, crito, and phaedo.
Brothers Karamazov is a great book, you might like it a lot. Take a look, you won't be disappointed.

Take care of yourself.

Plato was somewhat of a Fascist...(not saying he did not have brilliant insights). I'll stick to Socrates and Aristotle. Anyway; we will agree not to agree on certain things. Otherwise; there's no point. Hope you will watch my various mind-opening/expanding, thought-provoking, idea-inspiring, stimulating videos. JP

Hey, I read the parmenides (I know it's been a long time since you sent that post), and you know it's satire right? A response to Parmenides and Aristotle's metaphysics, by saying an analysis of the "one" or "Forms" is futile and absurd. It's ancient greek troll-bait!
If you're still down with Plato, take a look at the Symposium, it's a fucking awesome read!
Hope you're doing well too!
