Yes, it's true. I was born with this awkward 12-pound helmet lodged to my skull. I considered having it surgically removed, but doctors warned me of potential complications that could be life-threatening. So I have elected not to pursue the surgery at this time.

Despite my helmet handicap, I have tried best to lead a normal life. I even learned to play piano, but believe me, it is very hard to see the notes clearly with this helmet blocking my view. Sometimes my vision gets blurred as well since the glass covering my eyes gets fogged up.

It's not easy being a helmet-headed freak, but I welcome the challenges and aspire to be a decent piano player some day.
