Rina Cellini
RINA CELLINI was born in Venice where she grew up both in a cultural as well as professional and artistic sense. She studied at the "B. Marcello" Conservatory with Sergio Lorenzi, Luisa Baccara and with Gino Gorini, with whom she brillantly graduated. She has a degree in singing/didactic branch and singers branch. During her career she has performed several concerts both Italy and abroad, piano duo concerts, concerts with orchestras and harpsicord concerts all of which have been successful both among the public and the critics. Her repertoire is wide and ranges from the Renaissance to the Classical and Romantic periods. She is particularly interested in contemporary music and several Italian composers have dedicated their music to her. She is very often invited to hold specialization courses and Master Classes. She was also jury member in piano concourses. She has recorded for the Casa Bongiovanni of Bologna, for P.I.L.Z. - Iktius - Video Radio and has had positive criticals in Italy, France, England and West Germany and has recorded for the RAI TV, the Radio Vaticana, the Monaco TV and for important private TV. She holds the chair of piano at the "G. Frescobaldi" Conservatory of Ferrara. In 1985 she was appointed Academician at the "R. Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna", "for reknown fame in the musical art of concert-playing".
Filippo Terni
FILIPPO TERNI is an Italian composer and pianist. He was born in Ferrara where he grew up both in a cultural as well as professional and artistic sense. He studied at the "G. Frescobaldi" Conservatory of Ferrara with Rina Cellini, before, and Adriano Cirillo, after. He graduated with top marks and honorable mention. His artistic activity has always been quite intense. He won two iternational piano contests in 1998 and 2003, and the "S. Pertini" research grant, in 2006. During his career he has performed several concerts in Italy and abroad, piano duo concerts, and concerts with orchestras all of which have been successful both among the public and the critics. In 2009 and 2010, he played the opening concert for the International Competition "C.A. Seghizzi" (Gorizia) and he played for the "Ravenna Festival" foundation (Ravenna). In 2010, he recorded a piano solo album "Mozart, Schubert, Debussy" for the Montefeltro Music Publishing. In 2011, he played the C. Saint Saens "Carnival of the animals" at the Theatre of Ferrara.
