@blicksflicks "Pink" is a property of an object that reflects a certain wavelength of light, and if something reflects light, it will by definition not be invisible, as "invisible" implies that there is no visual indication of it's existence, and if light in that spectrum is reflected off of an o...

@rbeasley123 I also have a few nitpicks i feel should be addressed.
1. Not all atheists enjoy fantasy and science fiction, and i see no reason why all of them would.
2. X-men is science fiction, and while the science in it is incredibly soft, it does not claim to be above nature.
3. being an athe...

Exactly what did he say about these ideas in relation to his argument, was he just saying how ridiculous the idea was to him, or did he give an argument as to why this couldn't happen and if so, what was it? Going by the general rule in biology that homology and relatedness are corellated, it stands to reason that a fossil as described above is related to the two groups. About Phyerbyrd's channel
I want to know the truth, but I don't know where to start.
How am I supposed to live my life?
How can I tell if an argument is valid?
Can anyone help me?
I feel that various arguments are like chains, with each side trying to come up with a counter argument to the other's, and never really reaching a conclusion past simply giving up on trying to convince the other party. I've seen this on youtube with the various arguments about anything from our origins, to politics, to ethics, and everything else that people feel strongly about. These flame wars get more and more complex, and i lack sufficient knowledge to know what opinion to hold. I feel that if someone has any sort of opposition to my position, I cannot be intellectually fulfilled without first addressing that opposition.
A note to all people involved in this debate; I would recommend that if you want your opponent to change their arguments that you address all claims that you disagree with that they have made.
