I caught my first king salmon on braid today, what a huge difference. The strike felt like I snagged an anchor. Luckily I remembered to set my drag loose or I would of yanked off his head. I've caught hundreds of salmon on mono and now I am hooked on braid. BTW, I just used this knot. Phenom...
