About PhonicFaces
I develop these materials as I work with kids and see what confuses them. Then I figure out a way to SHOW them what they aren't understanding. The visuals help very young children understand the alphabetic principle (in our research 20-24 month olds learned letters and their sounds, as well as sight words), and 4-7 year olds easily learn to read. We also have had great success with older kids (and adults) with dyslexia or reading disabilities who have never understood phonics or other language concepts. I love figuring out ways to make difficult concepts easy to learn.
