Building and creating things has always been in my blood. Like most kids I had lots of Lego and was addicted to it and it worked perfect as a creative output till I was about ten or eleven. Then I found Age of Empires and Caesar III and their map editors. I don't even want to guess how much of my life I dumped into those editors.

Then, in early 2006 I found Garry's Mod 9. I found most of the maps that other users created to be boring and I constantly imagined what I could make and how I could do better. Of course, naive thinking on my part; I had yet to understand the complexities of a full blown development kit.
At first its learning curve scared me away for a few months, but I found myself constantly going back and trying over and over. The idea that I could create anything I wanted was too much of an allure to ignore.

I have been mapping in Source for just under five years now and I am so happy I never gave up.

Currently, I am building a portfolio of my work for - perhaps - a future job in the industry. How cool would that be?!
