I fell in love with this album in 1973, but had to hunt for six months to get a (second hand) copy of it on vinyl. That was stolen, but now I get to hear it all over again. I love the net.

I couldn't watch it. The sight of the blood was enough, and the "necklace" going on. These outright prejudices I put down to religious thinking, fear, a lack of education. Folk are still living in the night of superstition out there, and behaviours like this are a large part of why I choose to be...

In Britain, we have a thing called Guy Fawkes night, when Guy Fawkes is symbolically burnt at the stake, you know the scene, bonfires, fireworks and marshmallows. Excellent. I did a little diving years ago, and went to Scapa Flow. The ships there were tiny compared to these, but still awesome, in the real sense. I guess most of the ships you named are way, way deep. Bob Ballard territory.
