This is an amazing all around demonstration of synthesis. I think everyone that is new to synthesizers and programming should be shown this demo. Your videos are so insightful and indepth, I hope you can land a dream job at Moog or Dave Smith one day! And all in all, I love the Roland SH-09.

the 101 bass at 2:14 is some of the knarliest gritty bass I've ever heard in my life. Reminds me of what a MC-202 can do with a little overdrive and reverb. But the 101 and the MC-202 are virtually the same.

that osc sync at around 2:24 to 2:48 is probably the most hair raising beautiful pitch sync I've ever heard. Were you using an tape echo or slight delay on this? reverb?

@hondabender definitely not the pinnacle of all synths - not by a long shot. The MG1 was Radioshack's version of the moog rogue. If you want the greatest synth of all time, check out the Yamaha CS-80 or the Roland Jupiter 8.
