I feel sorry for the passengers, the driver on the other hand, not so much. Considering how fast they were going when they had to AT LEAST yield, and where the train hit them, they had to have been going around 60 mph.

You could have put all of the connection in your config.php that way you can just include or require that file and instantly have a connection regardless...makes it a lot easier in my opinion...less coding...
