About Phil Steck for Congress
Phil Steck has spent his career fighting for people's rights as a civil rights and labor attorney. As our representative in Washington, Phil will continue that same passionate advocacy for working families in New York's 21st congressional district.

Phil decided to run for Congress because he believes we need a real change of direction in Washington. That change can only occur if the people of the Capital Region have a leader who will listen to our concerns and work for our interests.Phil has spoken out for an immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq, a single-payer system of health care to assure the quality affordable health care we deserve, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and making college more affordable. Phil will work to bring more jobs and more Federal dollars to the Capital Region to stimulate our regional economy.
