Is a theistic scientist a true scientist?
Where would we be if scientists simply said 'god did it'? What if scientists never attempted to figure out cures to diseases, being content to think that they were caused by demons?

Theism can't give you knowledge or truth because it is just fables. Stories that early man made up because he wasn't intelligent enough to gain actual knowledge. If the Enlightenment had happened at the beginning of homo sapiens' evolutionary path then theism wouldn't exist, because there would have been no need for it.

I am anti-social. Any type of socializing I attempt to partake in feels like one extended awkward meet and greet. People comment on how they would hate to live a life like mine. But I enjoy living a life that an agoraphobic person would be proud of. I have been called that before. Fallaciously, as it turns out. I am not scared of society, like the suffix 'phobic' suggests. I just HATE it. Choosing to hate something is choosing to adopt a particular personality trait. Therefore, 'anti-social' is a personality trait, not a disorder. If the enlightenment had happened before humans had begun to socialize, anti-socials wouldn't be thought to be mentally fucked up. The need to socialize is one hell of a detrimental mutation, if you ask me. How many eons before it is destroyed?
