It's interesting to hear this particular live version of the song. Definitely using different keyboard sounds for the synthesizer tracks. Shows the limitations of the technology at the time.

@proptrader100 There are probably a couple of explanations. One, the person might not fly much. I fly about once a month for 2 hours or so, so that's only 24 hours a year. Second, maybe they enjoyed building more than flying, so once complete they didn't have much desire to keep the plane.

@BaneOfXistence4 I think he was using a Wal bass at this point in time. He eventually switched back to Fender around the Counterparts era.

Why, oh why don't they make music like this anymore? I love the staccato bass lines, groovy drums, and the near perfect blend of guitar, synths, and brass. Don't get me wrong, there are still some decent songs produced today, but pop music lost something in the 90's...

@smcneal057 You are absolutely right. I couldn't stand DS9 when it first came out. However, as an adult now, I realize I missed a real treasure. Especially after dealing with Voyager. Not that I hate Voyager, DS9 simply has better, more engaging stories.
