About Me:

Founded in 1985, the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force (PATF) is dedicated to saving, sustaining and empowering the lives of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and preventing the spread of infection. As the oldest and largest AIDS service organization in the region, PATF fights to break the cycles of prejudice, apathy and denial that are leading to increasing rates of new HIV infections, AIDS and death.

PATF offers a broad range of services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS including permanent and transitional housing, case management, emergency financial assistance, legal advocacy, transportation assistance and a food pantry. PATF also operates a number of HIV/AIDS prevention and education programs, consisting of HIV counseling and testing, a Speakers Bureau, and small-group workshop series targeted to reach high-risk populations.
