Refugee applicants and illegal overstayers in Japan are detained in 3 facilities. They aren't allowed to go outside and to contact with outside. They can read books and watch Tv and play ping-pong. One man who came from Nepal complained that - I was disappointed with this circumstance, I thought Japan was a free country, but I couldn't see outside once due to the frosted glass window and high walls since I came here, and when I was sick, what they did for me is to give me a potion(He hoped for a doctor). Others are also suffering from solitude and anxiety, one Iranian became desperate and attempted to commit suicide by drinking a detergent. Support groups and students has protested such inhuman system that treats them like inmates, although the officers has been reluctant to disclose details because of the security matter. But a progress occurred - all frosted glass of the windows are to be replaced with normal glass. //// Quoted from Kyoto Shimbun (Newspaper). February 26, 2011

Japan is still a weak military power, it's military is nowhere near that of United States, Russia, China or France. Japanese Corporations have their own imperial ambitions, they are no different from US ones, except they have no powerful military behind them to back these ambitions up. Japan is still a second-rate imperialist power and in its partnership with the United States it is definitely the subordinate partner.

Someone in the First World has a vested interest in splitting up Third World countries. Religious fundamentalism (Sudan, Nigeria) and tribalism (Congo), these are two of the most powerful weapons the First World uses to achieve that.

Well, the distribution of land in Zimbabwe and South Africa used to be, and still is in many respects, extremely unequal therefore extremely unjust. Whites owned and still own an extremely disproportaionate share of arable land, something like 80% in today's South Africa, which can only translate into mass destitution for the Black Majority. I have no sympathy for the reversed racism of Malema or Mugabe but even this is preferrable to the current situation. Malema is a racist, Mugabe is a racist but at least they are not White puppets like Mandela was. Mandela dropped nationalization of mines and re-distribution of land this is why so many powerful Whites in this world love him

The Igbo People in present-day SE Nigeria also independently invented writing 1000 years before the Europeans arrived. Which makes Nigeria one of only 5 places on Earth that independently invented writing besides Mesopotamia, China, Mesoamerica and the Easter Island.

SubSaharan Africa had a beautiful civilization in its own right well before the Europeans showed up. Places like Tombouctou, Benin, Ife, Great Zimbabwe etc- they clearly show the degree of sophistication to which Black Africans arrived. The Dogon People in present-day Mali had advanced knowledge of astronomy that was in many respects way ahead of its time. The bronze masks of Ife, present-day Nigeria, are among the most beautiful bronze artifacts ever made anywhere on Earth etc.
