@JustPetrov...Without your lover the night seems to drag on forever that's what the song's lyric refers to. The singer is missing his lover.

In a San Diego theatre early 1981...this song opened "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". That was enough to let me know I was watching a "classic" movie even then...and the soundtrack just got better from there. Still can't hear "She's Got To Be Somebody's Baby" without thinking of "Stacey" (Jennifer...

Liked your cover...definitely have emotion in the lyrics which means that the story and song moved you which says nothing but good things about your character. I felt your pacing was rushed which I think is because of the nervousness you obviously showed. Still a very good job and I hope as you s...

Great movie, great message...loved it in the mid-80's...still come back to it once in a while. One of the best sports movies ever made and it only is slightly about the sport of wrestling but more about life. It's not the 6 minutes it's what happens in that 6 minutes that matters!

I'm sorry, although this is ok I prefer Leigh Harris' version at the end of the movie "Eight Men Out", it fits the period of this music's conception better. Remember the movie is about the 1919 "Black Sox" and this music came out in 1918 and has a jazz age feel to it and should be sung that way.

Ms Harris' voice is perfect for this song, Kinda deep and raspy and full of experience which is needed for the lyrics. She demonstrates a wide vocal range just within this one song. Great rendition and helps make "Eight Men Out" such a memorable movie!
