Our nation's founders voted to end slavery. Sadly, that vote failed by 1. It took nearly 100 more years and a civil war to rid our nation of the scourge of slavery. Today, over 1.2 million preborn children are killed each year in America by abortion. Every abortion harms a women and kills a child. Moreover, the sick and the elderly face very real threats.
