About PersonaGrip Ergonomics

Ed Dellis is the mechanical engineer who invented the custom-molded steering wheels you see in F1, IndyCar, NASCAR, ALMS, the Unlimiteds, and other sports car racing venues.

His work in industrial ergonomics has helped prevent injuries for factory workers using assembly line tools involved in highly repetitive tasks that can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome and other RSI/CTD disorders.

As a racer, Dellis has won several driving championships, and his teaching at Skip Barber and the Bobby Rahal TrackTime Driving School is where he got to first share his knowledge of the Friction Circle.

His background as an artist helped him see how art and science can collide when designing custom-molded handgrips.
