I almost lost my brother in life this summer. Sedated for weeks in ICU, I saw him clinging to life with as many as 22 machines connected to him.

All the many, long 4 hours drives to and from where he was in hospital...this song played in the car on the radio.

@belozro - agreed. It has been what...20 years or so since it came out. I still lose my breath when listening and I remember like it was today, the beautiful love I shared with a very special someone.

@Ohmkayy456 ME TOO...I only had to hear it once...and actually only after hearing 30 seconds of it last night on Love to Dance...rarely do I just fall in love with a song...they usually need to grow on me...but this one was instant.

I don't have a son...but this song certainly strikes cord. I have a father who is wise, strict but caring and humble...if one day I become even half the man he is, I would be more man than I am now. I love my dad.

Incredible...I was 20 when this came out. I had the 'coolest' stereo in my Omni :) playing this loud! Gosh, when will 80's music like this come back?
