The Penn State College Republicans, founded in 1983 by a group of conservative students (including future Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum) exist to foster and encourage the activities of the United States Republican Party.

The Penn State CRs assist in the election of Republican candidates to local, state, and national office, and formulate and administer programs aimed at involving students in said Republican party.
