About Me:
The village of Pendro is approximately established around 300 years ago. In July 1978 Saddam's regime removed all people from Old-Pendro to the Camp of Bahirka near Hawler and destroyed the village. The new village established in April 1994 but people moved to Bahirka again because of Turkish air strikes.
Sardav is the valley behind the village with a water fall 10m away from the springs and there are too many springs around Pendro.
Pendro is also surrounded by forest and mountains.Botin is the Pendro's highest mountain which you can see on channel background.
In Spring people of Pendro going to the mountains to find mushrooms and other different vegetables which grow there,this is a very interesting time for the people and they all enjoy it.
