@Galoport no, he didn't. In fact, I've heard many times people say that Elvis questioned whether he'd even be remembered after he passed. If only he could have known then what he most surely must know now...

a transom is a set of windows above a door...back in the day, i think they were actually able to be opened and closed. So they were talking about Elvis wanting one of the guys the crawl through the transome to get into the store.
