Glad to be a citizen of the USA. Didn't get into guns until I turned 19. A fan of all sorts of guns. I prefer to buy American but make exceptions sometimes depending on price and quality as a whole. I like Revolvers and Semi Autos on an ALMOST even level but tend to lean towards the revolvers a bit more. I always look for the best bang for the buck guns and knives. First handgun I ever shot was a .380, first rifle was a .22 LR, first shotgun was a 20 gauge. I hope I can help you in choosing guns and making good choices without breaking bank.
