About this user

An author, editor, retreat & workshop leader, and spiritual director, I value substance and transparency, poetry and rhythm, stories of courage, humor, wilderness, and the human spirit. Nature, spirituality, play, prayer, and service often show up in my writing and blogs.

Dozens of my working years were spent with teens and college students leading retreats, offering leadership programs, and helping people make meaning from whatever life brings. I'm a rather simple person, but my "yes" has brought many extraordinary opportunities and people into my life.
