An uneven performance of this routine, but she had done so well with it in the three rounds leading up to the EFs. Hopefully she can hit it when it counts in London and win a medal on floor, which she deserves as one of the most consistent workers in the latest quad (and on beam too!)

She was a consistently impressive floor worker at major competitions, but those leos, wow. Worst team design ever!

She was 14, as was Allana Slater. Such an impressive competition from both of them.

I never thought I'd say this about a Ukrainian routine, but it looks over scored to me. The last ring pivot is clearly not completed, and there is a fumble of some sort with her trademark trap. That said, I hope Anna makes it through more than anyone else!

I admittedly know a lot more about the technicalities of gymnastics than skating, but I think it's healthy for people to agree to disagree sometimes. I am also loathe to go down the "even with mistakes they were way better" route, as unfortunately that argument is used in gymnastics all...

So Kylie's an amazing sport (and the duet didn't sound half-bad), but does anyone else get the irony here? This guy's like 15!

I heart Zhukova, but how did she get away with using music with discernible lyrics/words? The vocalist clearly says "oh yeah" during the chorus.

And floor perhaps more so than any other apparatus is prone to include lots of deductions as every landing, leap, pivot, connectio...

@ShawnVikaKomova2012 - it was the same with Kupets. I was not a huge fan of hers while an elite, but I loved her in NCAA, and wished she'd tried to make the national team again. She was in such great form all through her college career.

Wow - such an un-American floor routine, and it's fabulous! She has that rare combination of incredible twisting ability and a lovely line for dance. I hope she hits in London too.

@jeyzi Lisa Wang was a good gymnast, but why would the IOC choose someone from America for the spare spot when Mary Sanders had already secured hers? In 2000 it was a gymnast from Egypt who got the wildcard. It's all about trying to get athletes from as diverse a number of countries as possible.

Those fouettes at the end are insane. Such power and centreing, and she does a quadruple pivot to cap off the sequence!!

The amplitude on her flight elements is unreal. Sure, a few balance checks, but considering this was her senior international debut, she handled the situation very well. I hope she's in peak condition come London.

Anyone know what that first pass is worth in bonus? If she had a fourth pass (even a simple one) I reckon she'd have enough firepower to win a minor medal on floor at worlds.
