Yeah! There are three different wand cores, dragon, phoenix feather & unicorn hair!! :D I got a cedar with pheonix feather core, ten and 3/4 inches, slightly springy! There are soo many woods though. I couldn't even read them all since I was dying to get sorted haha. And everyting about your wand has a meaning. Pretty cool stuff. :D
