DUDE....ever heard of HIGH SOLID PRIMER? is GREAT for filling in holes and slightly lower spots on fiberglass. is what We use when We paint airplanes. try some. make Your job a lot easier. is also "forgiving" unlike BONDO that can crack or chip.
