About this user

I'm currently a student. After graduation I plan to start my own non-profit organization to help out the Khmer community in Cambodia and the United States. I also LOVE animals and I would like to help out in some way, shape, or form. I have a 10 year old chihuahua named Lucky and a 5 month old maltese/chihuahua mix named Frosti.

My long term goal is to attend medical school and to be the best role model I can possibly be.

Questions:
Is Pause4ACause the name of your non-profit?
-No, I have not started the legal process in having a non profit. Im waiting until I finish school. Pause4Acause is just a random name I made up. My motto I like to go by is to take time every day to do something good whether it is big or small.

Do you read and write in Khmer?
-Unfortunately no :( I took lessons in the past but never had enough time to devote to it.

Why doesn't my comment go through right away?
-Some of my videos are on 'pending approval' - as you know people online sometimes say insanely obnoxious things. I don't want my parents or younger cousins to read such negativity.

Why don't you make more videos?
-I get busy with school and work; I make videos when I have time.

You seem to have an accent when speaking Khmer?
-I was born and raised entirely in the U.S with an Americanized family. English is my first language. I learned Khmer not too long ago and I do not practice it daily. Of course my pronunciation is going to be different than someone who is born and raised in Cambodia. I never once claimed to be an expert in Khmer language/culture, lol, so take my Khmer lessons with a grain of salt. I appreciate constructive feedback but by all means make your own Khmer tutorials if you feel that I am incompetent in speaking Khmer. (I hope I didn't sound mean just then)
