For long term applications of this method digging in is great as long as the cage is treated against rust, 4x4's work better than 4x2's and leaves almost 600 litres of water below and 300 lt of grow space above.

@Hamish121212 yes access to this bed and tank is limited but that is for a purpose, to allow maximum space use. If you have a cut bed on top at 180 degrees to the tank you take up more room. This design is for no cutting of the metal cube and only a handsaw for the plastic cube. Still room for ac...
