If Elvis would have recorded his version of Hound dog with different lyrics, No one would have compared these melodies for each other! we would not be having this discussion. There are so many blues and rock'n roll songs that somehow remind elvis's version of hound dog. And that is a fact.

Both lennon and McCartney were genious. If you don't like the other one, that doesn't mean that he wouldn't be gordeous. It only means that the genious of McCartney or Lennon doesn't touch you! I don't understand the music of Bob Dylan, but I would never say that he is not a great song writer. O...

@Crim122 what you are saying is so true! The Beatles made them better! They made "classical music"(eleanor ribgy for example) and they made rock n roll, and everything they did is uncomparable. Thy are the Best. Little Richard himself has said that Paul Mccartney sang this song better than he.
