Poles and Armenians fought against Turks together :) I'm writing about Battle of Vienna in 1683. The regiment of five thousands Armenian soldiers supported polish forces which were under command of king Jan III Sobieski. Turks lost that battle in spite of numerical superiority. That battle was one of the most important battles in history.
Polish-Armenian relations had been always very good. Armenians bravely fought in many important battles in polish history. Until II World War there was numerous Armenian diaspora in Poland. Polish parliament recognized fact of Armenian Genocide in 19th of April 2005 (by acclamation).

Yes, I'm proud of my armenian roots :) Of my eyes too :) I looks really different than the majority of Poles. Your eyes are very beautiful :)

There are Turks and Chechens in Poland which have dark hair and eyes. Nowadays many Turks arrive to Poland to work in kebab bars. Unfortunately Chechens are often members of the mafia. Personally I hate Turks and never eat kebab, because I read about Armenian Genocide [*]

From my mother site I've got great-great-great-great-grandm­other (6 generations ago) from Armenia and I still looks like Armenian (black eyes and hair), not like typical Slav. In spite of my father who looks like typical Slav (grey eyes and brown hair).
So strong genes from Caucasus :)
