Having been born in Great Bridge, in the heart of the Black Country, England in 1956, most of my formative years were spent in Australia, living there twice and going to school in Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong and working in Newcastle, finally returning to England in 1978.

For me, visiting my artistic ability is like coming home. I get a great sense of satisfaction in creating a unique piece of artwork, particularly if it is appreciated by others. Painting gives me the opportunity to set the stage in colour and light - often to tell a story, or just to capture a unique aspect of people or nature.
