I am the founder/CEO, and head producer with State of Mind Records Inc., a music production company based in South Florida. We produce and songwrite everything from pop/r+b/and hip-hop to rap and electropop. We started out in Boston, Mass., and have many of our affiliations still up there including one of our team members, Skieman Barnes, of Sky's the Limit, who is our Associate Producer and does everything from web design to logos and trademarking, to album covers, inlays, and rap production. The main purpose for our YouTube channel is to not only showcase some of the instrumentals that I'm producing currently, but also something a little different. We are striving to showcase the tracks that we are working on getting major placements for, so that we can get some feedback and response as to what the world thinks. If we get positive responses for certain tracks, then we will move forward and approach the labels to attempt to land the track with their signed artist. I am going to show the world how to duplicate all your favorite commercial hiphop and r+b songs, on a keyboard synth. I have duplicated and basically recreated a huge list of songs like "Let Me Love You" by Mario, "Ms. Independent" by NeYo, "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West and "Be Without You" and "Bed" by J. Holiday. I know a lot of you are able to play commercial pop tracks on the piano or whatever, but I want to show you how to actually completely duplicate the song, drums, bass, keys, synths, and all-the entire song. Keep checking back with me and if you have any requests to see any of your favorite hiphop tracks remade in front of you.
