Pascale Michalski was born in 1983 in Luxembourg. Her parents chose the name Pascal because they were expecting a boy and future physicist; they added an e to feminize the former and still hope for the latter.
Starting work as a part-time Prop and Model maker for feature films at the age of 15 revealed a whole new career perspective for Pascale. She completed High School in Fine Arts in Luxembourg City and then worked full time for film productions the year before getting started at London South Bank University in London. Leaving Luxembourg to study at university in London, gave her the opportunity to expand her palette of technical skills, live in a big city, get in touch with exciting new people and learn more about the field she has always been passionate about: Automata.
She joined Cabaret Mechanical Theatre at the age of 24 with her very first Automata piece called Fort Libellula Automaton, which is a glimpse into the royal court of a bizarre Dragon-fly Queen, basking in the grotesque subjugation of her people.
