@alkleiza1995 it's all in the rocking motion of the right wrist, plus interspersing dead notes, slides and if you're really badass, harmonics with the left. At the end of the day it takes a lot of practice to get even close to this sort of speed and competence.

The basis of so many hip hop and dance tunes - Tony Scott's Listen to the Big Band springs to mind, e.g.

James Taylor and his friends deserve far more recognition than they get for the deep funk music they turn out. If they'd been producing this stuff in the USA around 1970 they'd be in the top 40 all the time.

@EricAndThe there's nothing wrong with playing pizzicato with two fingers only - standard way of learning and playing the bass, and it's comfortable enough.

Great tune, played it to death over the years. The bass player pretending to slap on this video makes me laugh though - clearly only synth bass on the recording.

Great tactical fight by Ali. both men looked exhausted in round 8, then suddenly Ali whipped out some big punches and finished him. He allowed Foreman to blow himself out while he picked him off throughout.

The fight should have been stopped in the round before. I've never watched this before, so it's not a case of being wise after the event - the guy in red trunks clearly had nothing left to give in that round. His corner should have thrown in the towel.

@fleshnbone187 as with all music, it's subjective but for me the Taste of Chocolate album wasn't great.

@cavemech2 this track was kicking but for me, the album as a whole was way below the standard of his previous two. This tune aside, Kane softened his style and tried to be more commercial. Didn't suit him in my opinion.

@lanceishiphop just to be absolutely correct, we need to shout out to James' drummer Clyde Stubblefield who actually conceived and played the funky drummer beat. Thanks to James' selfishness, Stubblefield has never received a penny in royalties for this. No wonder he refuses to play it.

@eugenemcgirt one of the best, but for me his good friend and 'stablemate' Kool G Rap and KRS1 are equals.

@mookeychase0907 good knowledge there. I play bass, and I used to have a small studio set up at home for making hip hop so I guess I have an ear for telling the difference anyway.
