In a sense Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson were similar to Donald Fagen and Walter Becker of Steely Dan. They used many session musicians in the studio for recording but would never tour to promote the albums. They still managed to sell over 40 million copies of their albums!

Nice to see he's always kept himself Halifax based unlike Sloan and Matt Murphy among others who relocated to Toronto.

@Sixxgrl They started as a band for the first 3 albums. Then Fagen and Becker turned it into strictly a studio band with several session musicians. That went on for many years.

Takes me back to the 70's and the early 80's growing up in Southern Ontario driving with my Dad with this on the radio. I Never thought I'd be sitting here on my PC writing a comment about it on YouTube 30 years later. Thanks for the memories!
